GETTING STARTED

You may need some new supplies for this project. It is important that you are prepared as soon as possible. You will need the following items:

1.  3 x 5 cards, lined

You will need at least one package of the loose cards. If you find the cards that are bound in a spiral on the top of the cards, you may need two packages. The spiral cards may work better for you since individual cards will not fall out of the set and get lost.

2. Ink pens, blue or black, non-erasable

Buy several ink pens at the same time in case one breaks or runs out. The shades of ink, especially blue, vary among manufacturers, so avoid this problem by buying several at once.

3.  A bottle of white-out

Using a little bit of white-out can save you from rewriting an entire page.

4.  Rubber bands

Regardless of the type of cards you buy, you will eventually reorganize your cards and turn them in to me. They should be held together with a rubber band.

Doing Research

You will spend a lot of time doing research. We will spend some class days in the school library. You may also work in the school library during your study hall if you ask me for a pass ahead of time. You may also use the public libraries in Bradley and Bourbonnais. If you have access to them, you may use the college libraries of KCC and Olivet.
