·        Dear God, please save me from those who believe in You.

 

·        Religion in the hands of fanatics who profess only one key to Heaven is dangerous.

 

·        There is a renaissance of religiosity; today’s youth want to be spoken to about spirituality.

 

·        Human rights is a secular religion.

 

·        Where there is no hope, we must create it.

 

·        Violence comes where language fails.

 

·        Even wars have laws.

 

·        Terrorism can be stopped only by each group’s spiritual leaders.

 

·        The book of Joshua is the only book in the Old Testament without poetry; it is a book of war.  God does not want singing after killing.

 

·        When God took credit for slaying the first-born Egyptians during the Passover, He was saying, “Only I can take a life.”
